Curtis Valvo, B.S.
Social Skills Program Director
"Groups are the intersection where inclusion, learning and fun meet"
Curtis Valvo has spent almost 20 years working with children, teens and young adults with Social Learning challenges. While attending college at the University of Central Oklahoma's Speech Language Pathology Undergraduate program, Curtis worked as a Habilitation Training Specialist, working with young adults on social skills, life skills and job training.
After graduating, Curtis began his role as Lead Instructor at a private academy in Edmond, OK specifically designed for young children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. After, he went into private practice and has solely ran Social Skills groups in OKC since 2009. Curtis tries to not only teach clients the skills for social success, but also provide a safe, fun and accepting environment for his social learners to learn about themselves and the social world around them.
My kids absolutely love Mr. Curtis. It's been life changing for all of us. He is doing amazing things with these kids!
Curtis has done amazing things with our son and has been the key factor in developing and molding his social behaviors. He goes well above and beyond for his kids and I have yet to meet one that doesn't just adore him.
Curtis Valvo is amazing. He has helped instill confidence and flexible thinking in our sweet girl, all while making it fun.
